In the early 90s, the idea was born to reflect the living conditions of the people in Waldbreitbach in ancient times. To this end, the trade association acquired a more than 300-year-old half-timbered house in the neighboring village of Bremscheid and built it next to the historical mills in Waldbreitbach.
On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the building is used as a quaint coffee house, and visitors can visit the museum for free.
